Born 1878. Painter of landscapes, scenes of the ballet and interiors. Co-founder and first President of the Camden Town Group, Gore’s work shows the influence of late Impressionist painting. His pictures are remarkable for their simplicity and directness, as well as an emotive use of colour.
He died aged 35.
